Pr. Don Mackintosh discusses the historical facts about the actual practice of the Seventh-day Advnetist Church in the 19th century. Did the church, as claimed by many advocates of women's ordination, used to ordain women to the gospel ministry, but, for some mysterious reason, cease the practice? What are the facts?

A hand drawn video has gone to the world showing why we should be able to ordain women or not, and still be within God's will.

Prs. Larry Kirkpatrick and Mike Lambert discuss the theological move of denominations which approve women's ordination and their inevitable drift into approval of same-sex unions. They consider how one and only one denomination so far has turned back from this---by reestablishing a historical-grammatical interpretive plan at their seminary. Discussion turns, with some regret, to the current situation of the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary located in Berrien Springs, MI. The women's ordination-favoring theological approach of the current dean is investigated, and the core presupposition identified. All this, in just 13 minutes.

This video immediately continues the comparison between the North American Division's proposed "Principle-based, Historical-cultural" method of biblical interpretation, with the longstanding Seventh-day Adventist principles of the "Historical-grammatical" method, undertaken in part 1 of the interview. Pr. Jim Brackett interviews Pr. Larry Kirkpatrick for the Council of Adventist Pastors (CAP). Back-and-forth comparisons are made between the SDA method ("Rio" document"), and the NAD's new method.

In this Council of Adventist Pastors interview, Pr Jim Brackett and Pr Larry Kirkpatrick discuss the new NAD proposed approach to biblical interpretation which opens the way for women's ordination. The NAD's new "Principle-based, Historical-cultural" method is contrasted with the longstanding Seventh-day Adventist use of the Historical-grammatical method.

This is part one of two.

Prs. Wayne Kablanow and Jim Brackett discuss women's ordination. Is WO as we have seen its proponents attempting to introduce it to the church today, actually congregationalism just at a larger scale? Is letting each division decide independently in essence the same as letting each congregation decide independently? Kablanow and Brackett work their way into the topic carefully in this extended study. 33 minutes!

Considering first the broader culture, then the Adventist subculture, Read also discusses WO in connection with the immediately following issue---homosexuality and the church.
